Hot hot-dip abbreviation hot plating, is a affordable and higher practicability method to treat surface of steel.It was widely used because of its simple technology and good corrosin resistance. But with the continuous development of human society, mankind to keep discovery unknown domain and in steel surface protection requirements of high performance improvement of alloy coatings, seeking the request is made.In order to overcome the pure zinc plating inherent in corrosion resistance, mechanical processing properties, people began to research the defects of more fine alloy coatings properties, including mainly includes Zn-55% Al alloy coatings, Zn, Mg alloy coatings, Zn-Al-Mg alloy coatings, this paper mainly research adding Ni in pure Zn plating,discussed production process and corrosion resistant performance analysis.The process of adding right quantity of Ni in coating has many distinct advantages.It can improve the surface appearance andcorrosion resistance of the coating.The density of Ni is 8.902 g/cm3, melting point is 1453℃, The density of Zn is7.14 g/cm, melting point is 419.5℃.For two metal conditions directly ways to hot-dip operation, the metal zinc will change to liquid first. Ni will have a long timel still exist in solid, liquid zinc will occur with oxygen in surface, causing severe oxidation of melting liquid waste and the pollution, thus make alloy melting liquid more difficult to determine the coating, so proposed produce adverse effect to Zn-Ni alloy instead of nickel elemental, in adding metal liquid zinc with sliced, Ni covered the protective prevent liquid zinc oxide, heating to 750℃-800℃heat preservation 30min.Then pouring into Ni alloy ingot, confect appropriate component before hot dip,and development new isolation blends what coverd the alloy melting liquid surface, reduce surface oxidation and make inside waste produced gathered in order to remove.Test the weight loss rate of different content Ni-Zn alloy coatings by all leaching experiments and fog test. Zn-Ni corrosion resistant performance studies show that its corrosion resistant enhancement with the increase of the Ni. Through electronic scanning microscope observation coating surface morphology, found Zn-Ni alloy coatings appear phenomenon of grain refinement with the increase of Ni.This grain organization structure heightening the coating the corrosion resistance.The hot dip time and temperature of the new alloy is equivalent with the Zn alloy for the low Ni content in the coatings.On the basis of the original galvanizing unit it can produce the new alloy coatings,so the coatings have wide application prospect.
