With the development of marine resources exploitation, underwater welding technology has gradually become one of the indispensable key technologies. Based on high-speed rotating scanning arc sensor welding robot, this subject studies and designs welding current detection device, completes the welding identified experiments under the condition of land welding process, and eventually serves underwater seam automatic tracing.To make the speed of the hollow shaft motor uniform and control of rotational speed easy, this paper employed a Brush DC Motor driver to drive the hollow shaft motor, a industrial PC to provide a given digital signal, and the motion control card to output analog voltage signal, finally, the Brush DC Motor driver to convert the analog voltage signal into a PWM duty cycle signal to control the speed of the hollow shaft motor.To better integrate most hardware and lay the foundation for the subsequent experiments, this paper designs and manufactures control box based on seam tracking system of high-speed rotating scanning arc sensor welding robot to improve the system stability and maneuverability.In order to accurately capture the welding current signal,, aiming at the problems found in previous experiments,, this paper based on the shunt principle performs a new welding current detection device detecting the welding current, which replaces a welding positive wires with four ones to respectively captures four ways of welding current signal by four current transmitters, and gets correction coefficient of four wires through the cement resistance box test.To verify the quality of the welding current detection device, relevant experiment scheme is designed and performed in this paper. Experimental results show that the effect of welding moulds will be best when welding criteria supplied welding current 240A, welding voltage 20V, rotating frequency 18Hz, welding speed 50CM/Min. The results of comparing the given offset value|e|=30mm and identified offset value say the recognition error during the whole weld identification process is smaller. Thereby, the welding current detection device is reliable for use.
