In order to solve the problem of the low accuracy of Shaping Cutter type and the low ability to wear and chipping, according to theoretic of a new type of hardened gear shaper cutters and method of funding model about mathematics and geometry, the article fund model of cutter and gear wheel. By finite element method, the article also study how technical parameters affect tool wear, cutting force, cutting temperature.Firstly according to mathematics model of convex curved rake gear shaper cutters, this article funds gear shaper cutters and gear wheel models of geometric through CATIA, MATLAB, EXCEL and other software, and simulates cutting process of this kind of gear shaper cutters by finite element software of DEFORM-3D.form this simulation, we can know how cutting force change in cutting process, and how technical parameters affect cutting force, cutting temperature and tool wear, and relationship between tool wear and cutting temperature, revealing the primary and secondary factors about how technical parameters affect cutting force, cutting temperature and tool wear in cutting process. This conclusion provides some guidance to improve the efficiency of shaping and reduce tool wear. From the article we can come to a conclusion:studying how technical parameters affect cutting force, the results show that feed amount in circle that affects the cutting force is the most important factor, then the cutting speed followed; studying how technical parameters affect tool wear, the results show the cutting speed that affects tool wear is the most important factor, then feed amount in circle followed; studying relation between temperature and tool wear, the results show the temperature gradient is large near the cutting edge, the temperature is high and the amount of tool wear is big.
