The rail welding is one of the most important roles in the construction of seamless railway, the quality of the welding joints affects the security of seamless railway. At present, the domestic mobile Flash-Butt welding machine occupies a very important position in construction of seamless railway, but it is later than the imported machine, the imported Flash-Butt welding machine have a considerable market share in the field of railway welding. The imported Flash-Butt welding machine needs high maintenance charges and long maintenance cycle, so the study of the regulating and stabilizing voltage system which is the main component of the K range of imported Flash-Butt welding machine has a good value in engineering. At the same time, on the basic of the analysis of the several mainstream circuits, a new program of the circuit is proposed in the paper, which lays the foundation for a new Flash-Butt welding machine.On the basis of reading extensive literature, the paper contents two aspects:First, analyzing problems of the domestic regulating and stabilizing voltage system and solving them, which includes three parts:(1) the synchronous trigger pulse system can not work steadily.(2)the welding voltage feedback system which has unreasonable parameters can not compatible with the imported panel. (3) the protected system can not work normally. Based on the analysis of these issues, a panel is designed and debugged, after replacing the imported panel, the Flash-Butt welding machine can work normally.Second, on the basis of the analysis of the mainstream welding circuits, a more advanced welding circuit is proposed.The debugging results of the regulating and stabilizing voltage system show that: the domestic regulating and stabilizing voltage system can work properly, and it can generate a phase-shift trigger pulse which is stable and power-sufficient. The simulative welding circuit which is driven by the pulse signal can output a stable and reliable welding voltage. At the same time, the theoretical analysis demonstrates that the new welding circuit is superior to the mainstream welding circuit in terms of craft and power-loss.
