Surfactants were used more and more widely in industry, agriculture, pharmaceutical and daily chemical and many other fields, more than ten million tonshave been consumed, of which the linear alkyl benzene sulfonate as anionic surfactantrepresentive were the most productive, accounting for most 56% of the total output ofsurfactants. The consequent water pollution of the urban environment can not beignored. Studies show that the surfactant in water produce large amounts of foam, theexchange of oxygen in the air has been influenced, resulting in decreasedself-purification ability of water and water degradagion. The peroxidase activity ofaquatic life have been drastically effected, when the situation is badly the aquatic lifewill be dead. But the research of this aspect is not much. This article based on the detection of anionic surfactants in environmental Waterin Lanzhou City, do the research of the nature of anionic surfactant and structuralcharacteristics and development trends, and the principle and characteristic ofHigh-Performance-Liquid-Chromatography and Solid-Phase ExtractionTechnology.Four kinds of linear alkyl benzene sulfonate can be wellseparated .Detection wavelength is225nm;the detection limits of 5μg/mL;proved tobe much better than the previously reported ones.Average reconeries (spiked at thelevels of 50μg/mL,25μg/mL,10μg/mL);ranged form85.7%~98.35%;withrelative standard deviations between2.93%~7.37% .
