Moulds/Dies, the.basal technical equipments in manufacture industry, are the key of developing new product . they play good role in rising the Efficiency and improving the Product quality . Whether the mould/die manufacturers Quote rapidly and exactly is the key for getting orders from Customers and getting Benefits. As a result , quotating rapidly and exactly is important for improving the supervisors'decision-making.By analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the current methods for mold quotation, a new quick quotation method for mold based on CBR technology is put forward, which analyzes the structure of plastic product and the price composition of mold price by CBR . This metheod make full use of the experience of mould/die manufacturers and the knowledge Rule about mould design and processing , The thesis research how the CBR technology is used in quotation and build model to estimate processing charges . A dualistic case model with the attributes of structural characters and price compositions and the way of organizing the cases have been given. The experts set method and the return method is put forward to estimate the structural character weights . Mathematical models are built to analyze the relation between structure of plastic product and the prosessing charges by studying mold prosessing technology .Based on the above-mentioned research . a quotation system for Injection Mould has been developed on UG . The system can quotate more rapidly and exactly and generate quotation list automatic .The theory and implementation method of thesystem discussed in this thesis could also be used for reference in the quotation of other types of mould/die.
