"Emission reduction" has become dominant content of Chinese energy policy. Domestic gas appliances industry as the terminal energy consumption also innovated and targeted at the goal of "efficient gas appliances". Gas water heater is important in daily life of Chinese people, and its thermal efficiency is only 85% while the thermal efficiency of a condensing gas water heater can range from 96% to 107%. Of course the raise of thermal efficiency is restricted by materials, technology, cost and many other constraints. The common goal in the industry is to find an optimal economic technical position between the high efficiency and low cost.In this paper, through the research and development of forced pumping 16 liters condensing gas water heater, we can study the problems of the processing of the gas water heater. By theoretical calculation and the corresponding experiment, it shows influence of the gas temperature on the thermal efficiency. When the gas temperature approaches 50℃, the thermal efficiency of gas water heater gets to 100%.The article also analyzes the influence of the excess air ratio on the thermal efficiency. It shows that the excess air ratio should be as small as possible under the condition of reaching emission standards. In this paper, an oblique condenser is studied and compared with the normal vertical condenser. The experiments and theoretical analysis indicated that it has higher heat transfer efficiency and smaller fan resistance. Then we did a simulation and experimental research on primary air factor which has a significant influence on combustion conditions and the excess air ratio. By the simulation of the ejector, we changed the parameters and fined that when the nozzle diameter is1.5mm, it will get a relatively better primary air factor. When the eject distance is 5mm, the entrainment ratio get its maximum and the primary air factor rises with the decrease of outlet pressure.This 16 liters condensing gas water heater, with 98% thermal efficiency, the CO in flue gas below 200ppm after conversion, the hot water productivity can reach over 96%。...
