Since China's reforming and opening up in 1978, the scale of foreign investment China has attracted is expanding all the time. So far foreign direct investment has become an important driving force to promote China's economic development; FDI has played a great role in promoting China's economic development. The positive and negative effects of foreign direct investment on host countries are often co-existed.FDI has played a positive effect in China's economic development and at the same time, its negative impact can not be ignored. As far as the ecological environment is deteriorating, it increasingly shows the importance and necessity to add the eco- environmental effects of foreign direct investment into the effects produced in the host countries. The thesis takes the analysis of specific regions of Bejing, Tianjin and Hebei as the core. Firstly conducting the method of theoretical interpretation to track research status and achievements of relevant theories home and abroad on ecological economics, environment and economic growth theory, the marginal industrial expansion theory and the theory of environmental-pollutioned industries transferation and etc. to make a review on the theoretical aspects of multinational investment, environment effects, of international industrial transferation. Secondly, conducting the method of specific mathematical model to concretely analyze the composition of interactional effects mechanism between the environmental effects and FDI. Thirdly, conducting chart and statistical analysis method to generally analyze the status of FDI and FDI in pollution-intensive industries in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei region. Fourthly, establishing the simultaneous equations model with Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei region's specific FDI data and related economic and environmental data to make the further quantitative analysis on the relationship between the ecological environment effects and multinational corporations. The conclusion of empirical analysis on Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei region is summerized as generally in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei region the structure of FDI's investment industrial structure gradually tends to be reasonable and contributes to the control of ecological environmental pollutant emissions and protection policies and regulations for ecological environment need to be further improved and strengthened and policies execution for the relevant functional departments can be improved by the implementation of an improved and sound evaluation mechanism to strengthen the attention degree of environmental pollution regulation to make it more effective to regulate environmental pollution arising from FDI and select FDI with high quality. The thesis mainly focuses on the empirical analysis on the factors influencing the host countries to choose multinational investment with economic and environmental data in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei region based on the theories of FDI and ecologically environmental effects in order to more comprehensively summarize the main factors that affect multinational investment and analyze by which ways these factors determine investment environment and affect investment choices and proposes some suggestion and measures to promote regional ecological environment and sustainable economic development. The thesis'research has important practical significance on the clearly summerize main factors that affect choosing current and future multinational investment and has important realistic significance to improve the regional investment environment and promote sustainable development of regional economy and for the different regions to propose some practical and effective suggestion of policies on attracting investment so as to promote more rational multinational companies investment distribution and realize sustainable economic development of different regions and our country.
