As the economy continues to grow,China has a huge impact on the world.At the same time,the rapid development of China's economy has also paid a corresponding price.The emergence of serious waste of scarce resources,extensive economic management and extreme destruction of living environment has had a serious impact on the economic development and overall rise of our country,and has also restricted the further development of our country.Therefore,under the background of constructing the contemporary economic system,how to transfer the focus of economic development to realize the successful transformation of resource-based cities and ensure the sustainable development of future economy while taking into account the ecological protection is an urgent problem to be solved in China.As a resource-based city,the resource industry occupies the core position of economic development,forming a dominant phenomenon.With the shortage or even exhaustion of resources,the potential of urban development is further weakened,the core competitiveness is lacking,and economic development stagnates.Wuhai city is forced to carry out economic transformation.Although the effect of transformation is remarkable and the living conditions of the city have been improved to a certain extent,its development potential is still slightly insufficient.Especially under the current internationalization background,the foreign economy is also in a bad state,and the foreign market economy is in a downturn.China's domestic economic growth rate has changed from high-speed growth to medium-high-speed growth.China is in a critical period of transforming the economic form,optimizing the industrial structure and replacing the driving force of economic growth.Wuhai City should seize the opportunity of development,change its urban orientation,pull out the title of "resource-based city",change passive development to active development,realize economic take-off,and actively build and improve the long-term mechanism of sustainable development.Firstly,the sustainable development of Wuhai city is based on industrial upgrading;secondly,the necessary condition forsustainable development of Wuhai city is the improvement of ecological environment;thirdly,the fundamental problem of sustainable development of Wuhai city is to solve people's livelihood problems;finally,the key to sustainable development of Wuhai city is to change the driving force of economic development.According to these positive and effective long-term development mechanisms,while developing the economy,we must take into account the protection of the ecological environment,so as to realize the coordinated sustainable development of the ecological environment,people's livelihood and economy.The pursuit of social interests leads to the imbalance of coordinated development of ecological environment,people's livelihood and economy.In this paper,based on the theory of sustainable development,and combined with the actual development of Wuhai City,we conduct in-depth investigation and evidence collection at the grass-roots level,and conduct in-depth analysis with empirical research methods.Then it explains the various influencing factors facing the current transformation of Wuhai City,including population,existing resources,ecological environment,urban foundation,development potential and so on.It reveals how resource-based cities with mining resources take into account the coordinated development of ecological environment,people's livelihood and economy.On this basis,this paper puts forward further sustainable development strategy.
