In order to study Ni-based amorphous alloy coatings could be formed on 45 steel substrate surface with laser cladding method, the author use the principle of the three clusters and the amorphous line of the law of composition rules and chose Ni59.35Nb34.45Sn6.2,Ni42Zr30Ta28,Ni60Zr20Nb15Al5 which has a great glass-forming ability (GAT in Conventional preparation methods of amorphous alloys. Using the DL-HL-T5000B CO2 laser artifactitious machine to prepare amorphous alloy coatings on 45 steel. The microstructure, mechanical and corrosion distribution of laser cladding in different output power was analyzed theoretically and the result was confirmed. The SEM picture of coating, micro-hardness and corrosion data was also obtained. The results showed that: the cladding coating was formed of the cladding coating, combined zone and the heat-affected zone, the phase including amorphous phase and crystal phase;when the laser output power is 3300W,the surface of cladding coating had the highest hardness; which reached to 1796.4HK,the surface wear rate is 0.778g·mm-2;the cladding Ni42Zr30Ta28 coating had the best corrosion resistance due to amorphous coating, the sample weight per unit area is 0.0026g·mm-2, salt spray test reach to the best.
