With the exploitation of tin resources year by year, there are fewer and fewer resources to a single tin, at the same time, the tin mining turn to multi-metal sulpHide ore.In order to make better use of mineral resources, it requires we to recovery the maximun extent as much as possibile for a variety of valuable metals in the mineral resources.Hualian Zmc&Indium Co. is an important non-ferrous metal production enterprises in Yunnan Province.Tongjie is one of the compangy's dressing plant The run-of mine ore of Tongjie dressing plant contain mainly tin-polymetallic sulfide ore.The flow of production for Tongjie dressmg plant is floating copper and zinc, gravity separating tin. The mam products are zinc and tin, followed by copper and iron.At long-term production practicing, the parts of the metal recovery rate is low in the concentrators. Especially, the loss of the main metal products tin is a large number of into the tailings, and tin is only 45.37% recovery in tin concentrates. To this situation, in this paper, the flow of production for Tongjie dressmg plant was examined and researched in detail. The ore-dressing indicators, distribution and direction of each metal were examined and analvzed in detail for the each jobs in the concentrators. Through the results of process testing, it found that why the recovery rate of main products tin was low.1) The effect was low in the desulfurization operation; it was resulting in the tin in the follow-up affected by a large number of pyrite, maked lower recovery of tin.2) It was less effective for the fine fraction of tin in the shaking table separation.In order to improve the effect of separation of tin,in the paper it took the tailings of flotating zinc as the test run-of-mine.A lot of laboratory tests were studied, including the condition for desulfurization test, the gravity separation of tin test after desulfurization and the study of fine fraction tin recovery.In the desulfurization test the recovery rate of sulfur was 52.32%, in the shaking table separation of tin,the grade of tin was 23.11%,the recovery rate of tin was 59.82%.In the recycling of fine fraction of tin study, Falcon concentrator which was high effective mineral separation equipment was used to separate the fine fraction of tin, when its speed at 2000r/min grade,tin concentrates obtained 14.56%, recovery was 8.29%.From the new process of the above study we can found: Through by the gravity separating on tin after desulfurization and separating the fine fraction of tin with Falcon concentrator, the total recovery of tin from 45.37% increased to 68.11%, compared with the original flow of production. The recovery of tin has been significantly improved.As results, it provide theoretical basis for the dressing plants, and meanwhile, it can provide the reference for same type of mining companies. |
