The Load of Cutting unit and Haulage Unit are simulated, and Load characteristics are analyzed in Time domain and Frequency Domain. On this basis, Load characteristics of the shearer cutting unit and the cutting coal Ability are studied. The cutting coal Coefficient and the optimum Haulage Speed in different roller rotate speed are worked out. The key technologies in modeling and simulation of the rigid-flexible coupled multi-body system based on virtual prototype are studied. The rigid-flexible coupled multi-body system model of the shearer cutting unit working in thin coal seam with pyrites are founded in the collaborative simulation based on Pro/E, ADAMS and ANSYS. The cutting coal Ability are Simulated and the cutting unit Reliability is studied. It provides evidence for Design Optimization of Shearer.
