Nitrobenzene wastewater is very difficult to degrade. It is high toxicity , high concentrated ,high stability, abroad sourced in chemical wastewater. At present, such wastewater's mainly treatment is a combination of physicochemical and biological methods. This paper studied the white rot fungi (Phanerochaete chrysosporium) which have been selected to degrade nitrobenzene predominant strain pretreatment, to reduction toxic of wastewater, and then use activity sludge performs further degradation to nitrobenzene wastewater.First study in this paper is the fixed method of white rot fungi. We found four kinds immobilize materials: Sodium Alginate (SA)-sawdust, polyving akohol(PVA)-sawdust, and wood, corncob which belong to embed and plant surface immobilization, respectively. And research is nitrobenzene degradation rate and degradable of white rot fungi which fixed by four materials, and the influence of concentration, flow rate of wastewater. Then, study the influence of immobilize white rot fungi as pretreatment and post-treatment to nitrobenzene degradation rate of combination of immobilize white rot fungi and bacteria( activity sludge) in the self-made reaction apparatus. And the influence of immobilized materials, time, concentration and flow rate of nitrobenzene wastewater to nitrobenzene degradation rate of immobilize white rot fungi-bacteria (activity sludge). The results were as follows.1,The time fixed white rot fungi by embed method is 2~3 days, by plant surface immobilization is 5~10 days. The best immobilize material is corncob, wood better, Peanuts is not suitable in three plant materials.2,When use immobile white rot fungi dispose nitrobenzene wastewater, the sequences of nitrobenzene degradation rate , degradable and tolerance to flow rate of wastewater of different fixed are universal : PVA-sawdust>SA-sawdust>wood>corncob. The concentration of highest mean degradable to white rot fungi fixed by embed method is 1000 mg/L; by surface immobilization is 800mg/L.3,Embed white rot fungi have higher nitrobenzene degradable. White rot fungi which fixed by surface immobilization have longer service life. White rot fungi fixed by PVA-sawdust have maximal degradable, fixed by wood have longest service life.4,The better result is use immobilized white rot fungi as pretreatment in Combination of immobilized white rot fungi and bacteria. Embedded white rot fungi be compared to surface immobilized white rot fungi have smaller influence to flow rate of wastewater. Use Combination of Embedded white rot fungi and bacteria degrade 1000mg/L nitrobenzene wastewater, degradation rates of nitrobenzene more than 95% when the velocity is below 15mL/min; when fixed white rot fungi by wood and corncob, degradation rates of nitrobenzene are more than 98% and even100% when the velocity is below 3mL/min, more than 90 when the velocity is below 20mL/min. With increase in the concentration of nitrobenzene, degradation rates of nitrobenzene are lower. PVA-sawdust is not fit for long-term service to wastewater.
