With the development of science and technology, People's life and industry are increasingly depending on coal. So quantity of coal mining start increasing, a kind of fire often occurred during the course of the coal mining, therefore, fire prevention work to be very important. The paper outlines the problems faced by coal mines of China in the work of preventing spontaneous combustion of coal firstly. From this background, the major domestic and international fire anti-extinguishing technology and their advantages and disadvantages are introduced. Then propose a new control on the spontaneous combustion of coal block of foam fire extinguishing technology research. This article makes an investigation on fire fighting about coal and the frothy gel. We are choosing a couple of surfactants, Taking advantage of mixing, to carry out experiments, so we can get surfactants that foam multiple is higher and have advantages of low cost. On the basis of this, we work on science experiments about foam stable to get optimal concentration of a drug. We focus on the multiple high foaming and good stability of the foam liquid viscosity, surface tension, contact angle measurement, and study the relationship between them and the foam covering on the properties of coal. It was found that surfactant can reduce surface tension of water, reducing the contact angle, thereby improving the foaming solution on the coal coverage. While the foam liquid viscosity can improve the foam stability.Super-absorbent montmorillonite/sodium polyacrylate/polyacrylamide composite material was made from montmorillonite, acrylic acid and acryl amide through solution polymerization process, and used as foam stabilizer for the frothy gel of the fire fighting in coal mine. In the experiment, by adjusting the additive amount of montmorillonite, the degree of neutralization and cross linking agent as well as the amount of initiator, to find the recipe which had high water absorbency, good salt tolerance, high gel intensity and low cost.Mixing surper-obsorbent composite material to high foaming inhibitor foam, optiming matching, preparation foam fire extinguishing material, inhibitor experiments show that the highest inhibition is 65.6%.
