High-Speed WEDM is domestic original technology, and holds the enormous share by its high cost performance in the domestic market. It has made great Progress in the machine structure, technology level, and Process Performances, But there are still significant gaps compared to low-speed WEDM.Forecasting and automatically optimizing of machining process parameters is a difficult issue in WEDM Processing. The key is to establish a reasonable and effective WEDM mode to solve the difficult. Due to the complexity of the machining process, processing parameter changes when the degeneration and system of nonlinear etc, it is difficult to accurately build a mathematical model of quantitative. So it need to seek new methods to solve mathematical model of the problem.Along with the further research of neural network technology and the successful application of other processing field, Neural network technology also provides important ways for WEDM research. It can simulate reality system complex input and output relationship, and has strong nonlinear modeling capability, so it will be applied to the WEDM processing effect prediction and processing parameter selection in this paper Combined with the characteristics of artificial neural network., It also provide reliable basis to Study on the Intelligent Optional System of HS-WEDM.This paper generalizes the research development of WEDM technology and summarizes the WEDM process principle and characteristics. And test in the DK7725 by orthogonal method to acquire experiment data and store in different EXCEL sheets According to different materials, because it is easy to be called for system later. Model based on the experimental data with gradually regression analysis method, the BP and RBF neural network method respectively, compare and evaluate the results. Construct processing effect prediction and processing parameters optimization model with BP and RBF neural network. The processing effect prediction for roughness and parameters optimization for Pulse width,interveinal,current.Finally, developed Intelligent Optional System of HS-WEDM with MATLAB.This Intelligent Optional System of HS-WEDM is easy to operate with friendly man-machine interface, and better meet the functional requirement. And the results show that the system has higher operation precision, and can help keeping advantage of high price-performance through the software testing, so it can guide production to a certain extent.
