Numericl control garment cutting is inevitably trend of the development of garment processing. It is decided garment processing production by the quality of garment cutting machines. It is the target of garment cutting machines that more high-speed and accuracy. The research which improves the performance of garment cutting machines and the productivity of garment industry has an important significance, and enhances the competitiveness of enterprises.To improve the processing accuracy and speed of garment cutting machines, this paper studied the motion control system of garment cutting machines on the basis of reviewing related theory and technologies in existing literatures. The key points which are still not resolved are how to suppress the processing error of the cutting machine by using graphical data reconstruction algorithm, how to shorten the processing time and ensure the quality of the products, and how to design the motion controller and implement the function of garment cutting machines. The main studies and conclusions of this paper are listed as below:Firstly, it is designed motion system of garment cutting machines after analyzing the characteristics of gatment cutting machines. It is adopted graphical data reconstruction, and speed control in the solution based on the core of TMS320F2812.Secondly, it is compared Bezier algorithm, Akima algorithm and B-spline algorithm. It is designed Quasi-uniform B-spline graphical data reconstruction algorithm for motion control system in cutting machines. It is demonstrated that the method smooths the curve, reduces the graphical data, and improves the processing accuracy by the simulation and experimental results.Thirdly, it is designed the look-head speed planning method and S-curve acceleration and deceleration in terms of the characteristics of the processing path. It is showed that the method shortens the processing time and ensures the processing flexibility by experimental results.Fourthly, it is designed a controller with TMS320F2812, and carried out the main functions including data transmission, data analysis and cutting garment.Fifthly, it is designed the experimental program to verify the performance of garment cutting machines and the proposed methods in the paper. It is demonstrated that the methods are valid and the performance of the cutting machine is improved by the experimental results.Finally, it is briefly summarized the whole thesis, and proposed some suggestions to the further research.
