This paper resumes chitosan's structure, property and chitosan fiber's traditional manufacturing process, summarizes the study situation of chitosan endlesstow, analyzes the key problems existed in the production of chitosan fiber including low production efficiency, low industrialization and irrealizable continuous fabrication. In order to resolve these problems, the key technology of chitosan fiber endless tow was studied in this article.The study of producing chitosan endless tow increased the production efficiency and output greatly, reduced the cost of production enormously and improved the mechanical properties of chitosan fiber.The defoaming technology of chitosan spinning solution is researched first. A method that is adequate for chitosan spinning solution was proposed, this method combined dynamic deaeration with static deaeration. And actions were took to prevent concentration changement of spinning solution. The factors which influent the speed of deaeration were analyzed through theoretical calculation. The Analysis results offer the theoretical guidance for the deaeration of spinning solution.The rheology behavior of chitosan spinning solution was studied. The influence of solution concentration, time, temperature and grinding time to the rheology behavior of chitosan spinning solution was analyzed.The traditional spinning technology was improved, low cost and efficient continuous spinning technology of chitosan fiber endless tow was worked out. This paper resolves the problems existed in traditional wet spinning and dry wet spinning, such as complicated technical process, high production cost and waste time and energy. This spinning technology improves the spinnability of chitosan fiber. At the same time, the morphology of chitosan fiber endless tow which was produced use new technology was analyzed in this article, to guide the production and usage of chitosan fiber.The flow condition of chitosan spinning solution when it is passing spinning jets was imitated used FLUENT, to direct the selection of spinning jets. This method reduces experimentation cost, and guides experiment in theory.
