With the development of coal mining technology, the endless rope continuous tractor often used as auxiliary transport facility in coal mining with an increasing proportion for its simple installation, convenient operation, low installation cost, long distance transport and continuous transportation. But in the release of heavy objects or the occurrence of shuttle lost accident, brake failure was much more likely to happen. In order to further improve the safety of endless rope continuous tractor, this paper designs an antiskid braking system.This paper deduced the operation theory of endless rope continuous tractor and analyzed the most common conditions of rope slipping, rope breaking and the lane change of shuttle car at unloading heavy duty, and designed and researched the mechanical brake mechanism of the anti- skid safety braking system. The finite element analysis is performed to antiskid pads, wedge boxes and wedge by using Simulation of SolidWorks to get the nephogram of its stress and displacement and the feasibility of this device was verified.This paper researched and designed electronic control system of anti-skid safety brake system to determine the overall electronic control system program and choose PLC-related modules, then gave the detection strategy of rear wheel force of the endless rope continuous tractor and the speed detection of roller and the wire rope,designed detection scheme of loading the telescopic hydraulic cylinder and frictionpad wear, finally obtained piston rods tension control strategy of loading hydraulic cylinder.This paper designed and analyzed the hydraulic loading system of anti-skid safety brake system. In order to achieve the rapidity of anti-skid safety brakes, this paper proposed and identified the accumulator as a power source of the hydraulic system program, established the hydraulic system of mathematical models, and then select the hydraulic cylinder, electromagnetic valve, accumulator and other hydraulic components, verified the feasibility and speed of the hydraulic system by using AMESim and provided the foundation for the kinematics and dynamics analysis of antiskid safety brake mechanism for the next step.A virtual prototype of the antiskid safety brake mechanism was established by using ADAMS to obtain the speed variation curve of steel wire rope, wire rope displacement curve line and the contact force variation curve between unilateral friction pad and wire rope and verify the feasibility and speed of the hydraulic system. Through the measuring of the ADAMS/PostProcessor module, Which is of great significance to improve the safety of the endless rope continuous tractor.
