At present, organosilicon modified by amino which is the fourth generation of organosilicon products has been the major product of organosilicon softening agents. As the fourth organosilicon finishing agent, it has excellent application performance, textiles finished by this product become more soft, smooth and comfortable. However, it also has defects. For example, the first one, the finished textiles become hydrophobic which makes people feel muggy, also it is difficult to wash these textiles. The second one, the finished textiles which are light -colored or white appear yellow stain after baking. The third one, many organosilicon products modified by amino have poor stability and demulsification or floating oil happens easily in the process of storage, transportation and application.In order to overcome these defects, textile assistant researchers pay more attention to explore a new organosilicon product modified by amino which has excellent softness and hydrophily and less yellow stain.Most hydrophilic amino silicone oil reported by present articles was prepared by using low contained-H silicone and allyl glycidyl ether as starting materials, then polyether with high molecular weight is introduced into macromolecular side chains of modified silicone oil. Though the introduction of polyether with high molecular weight can improve hygroscopicity and antistatic behavior, amino and flexible main chains of organosilicon are packed or shielded by polyether with high molar mass, then the directional adsorption effect between amino and textiles is reduced, thus the softness and smooth feeling of the finished textiles is decreased accordingly Besides, most products of hydrophilic amino silicone oil reported by present articles are prepared by using primary or secondary amino, the effect of finished textiles is poor because of yellow stain caused by primary amino.The organosilicon softener prepared in this paper is modified by polyether and amino. This product owns high molecular weight and linear chain. The steric hindrance between molecules is small, the main chains of molecules are submissive, the acting force between molecules is weak, and the surface tension is very low. It is not necessary to add emulsifier, and emulsion is very stable. The problem of general organosilicon modified by amino which has poor stability and demulsification or floating oil has been overcome. The hydrophilicity of finished textiles is improved because polyether with high molecular weight has been introduced into the main chain of organosilicon. It can endow textiles with excellent softness because amino and main chains of organosilicon wouldn't be packed or shielded by polyether located linear chain. Meanwhile, it is very stable and hard to be oxidized owing to second amino and third amino introduced into main chain of molecular. So the yellow stain phenomenon has almost been overcome.The organosilicon softener modified by polyether and amino in this paper was prepared from port hydrogenium silicone (PHMS), allyl polyoxyethylene polypropylene epoxy ether (AEPH) and 3-dimethylamino propylamine etc. Silicone hydrogen addition and ammonolysis reaction were needed to synthesize this product. We studied the property of this product from the molecular weight of PHMS and AEPH, the mole ratio between silicone hydrogen bond and carbon-carbon double bond, and synthetic process. As a result, the first step silicone hydrogen addition reacted very well when the molecular weight of PHMS and AEPH were 2000 and 500 respectively, the mole ratio between silicone hydrogen bond and carbon-carbon double bond was 1:1.2, the reaction temperature was 95℃, the reaction time was six hours, the percents of catalyst was 0.002%(to the weight of PHMS), the percents of solvent was 30%(to the total weight of material). The second step ammonolysis reaction reacted very well on the condition of that the mole ratio between intermediate product and organic amine was 2:1, the reaction temperature was 45℃, and the reaction time was three hours.The textiles had been finished by using the product synthesized by ourselves. The whiteness of textiles, breaking strength, hydrophilicity and softness were studied from the pH of treating fluid, the temperature of treating fluid, the quantity of softening agent, the temperature of preliminary dry, the temperature of baking. The result demonstrated that the properties of finished textiles were best when the pH of treating fluid was six, the temperature of treating fluid was 40℃, the quantity of softening agent was 20g/L, the temperature of preliminary dry was 90℃, the temperature of baking was 145℃.
