The Research About The Processing And The Applications Of The Causticized Paper Sludge

In the process of the alkali recovery, the paper mills emission so much causticized paper sludge,it causes environment pollution. The experiment takes up the complex utilization of the lime mud from causticization stage of papermaking process as its major subject.Mainly on three aspects,one is to use the active calcium oxide and excessive alkali which contain in the lime mud to produce nodules in blending fly ash into the lime mud because of the characteristic of the lime mud.one is to Preparation out silicate ceramic,the last one is preliminary research of the Preparation of ceramic filter material.The shaping technology of the lime mud nodules and the calcining system are researched. It is shown that the lime sampers which we get have good initial strength are suitable for accumulating, transiting and calcining, and the activity of the CaO is 65%percent high. It has been discovered that,In certain proportion and appropriate calcining system, the density of fired materials is low,in general, between 1.1 g/cm3 to 1.3g/cm3,the strength is high to 20MPa, the Volume contraction of the Sintering products is low,the water absorption is high, the porosity is high,and in particular,when the sintering products immersed for several days,the strenth is not down.the mineral phases of the ceremic includes gehlenite and anorthite. The ceramic filter material in this paper is in Spherical shape, it has light qualitative and thebibulous rate is high.
