The beam and ram of the milling planer hydraulic automatic balancing system has great significance to improve the machining accuracy of the machine tool, the rapidity and stability of the machining process and the life of the component, whose functions are balancing out the dead weight of the moving parts, like beam and ram, with the hydraulic system and reducing the uselessness load of the servo motor under each condition. With the rapid development of our country's machining industry, more and more attention has been paid to the quality and efficiency of the machine hardware machining. And it can also make a significant contribution to study on the view of reducing the consumption of the machine tool.The research direction of this paper is the closed loop control balance system whose core is the tee proportion pressure reducing valve. The working mechanism of the tee proportion pressure reducing valve during the processing of balancing the dead weight of the beam is emphatically analyzed under the three conditions of milling planer beam upward displacement, stopping and downward displacement. Through establishing mathematical model, making a simplified treatment to the tee proportion pressure reducing valve, making a theoretical analysis to the output pressure of the dynamic response and ensuring the structure parameters, it provides a theoretical basis to improve the control precision of the balance system. A simulation was made to the non-linear model of the balance system with module base of the SIMULINK software package.In this paper, the scheme of realizing the weight self-balancing of the balance cylinder controlled by the tee proportion pressure reducing valve was proposed and the mathematical modeling was made to the decompression process and overflow process of the tee proportion pressure reducing valve. How to improve the dynamic and static performance indexes of the force loading system is the key research point to the control of the force, the balance requirements of the beam and ram under different motion states are satisfied with the closed loop control of the pressure sensor. Simulation results show that this kind of hydraulic balance system can realise the balancing effect accurate and rapid. This kind of hydraulic automatic balancing system, whose core is tee proportion pressure reducing valve, can realize a stable pressure control under the condition of load with frequent movement, it has a certain reference meaning to the engineering practical application in the propose of balancing out the load force.
