Yanqianshan iron mine is going to be changed from openpit to underground. The underground excavation will not only change thestress field of the underground mine, but also break the balance of theopen slope. That may bring a serious impact to rig equipments andunderground production safety.This paper deals with the slope of Yanqianshan iron mine that isgoing to be changed from open pit to underground. Through thecomprehensive application of geological exploration on the scene, makesure the structure of slope rock mass. According to the geologicalexploration on the scene, experiment on rock mechanics, the shape and soon, which use limit equilibrium method to calculate the stability of it.This paper also establishes FLAC 2D simplified calculation model withthe mining coordinate section 4200. Rock slope is analysed withMohr-Coulomb, and makes the excavation simulation with 10 steps.According to the actual excavation simulation, we can find the stress andstrain of slope deformation and change situation, make sure the sloperock mass plastic flow of the plastic zone, unloading zone and tensilefailure zones in the generation and development of the evolution of thelaw, and get time of the possible landslide.
