At present, with the gradual increase of mining depth and the further exploration of underground ore resources, many open-pit mining mines continue to expand and mine, the amount of engineering is large and the economy is unreasonable,so many open-pit mining metal mines begin.Or plan to switch from open-pit mining to underground mining. However,as the underground mining progresses, the damage and deformation law of the open-face slope will become more complicated due to the effect of the composite mining effect, and the stability of the slope will also be With the change, the study of the stability of the open slope has become an important task for this type of mining enterprise to ensure production safety. This paper takes a metal mine in Sichuan Province as the engineering background, and combines field engineering survey, site in-situ test, point load test and indoor rock mechanics test with Chiping polar projection,Rocscience Dips software and FLACE3 D numerical simulation analysis software.Study the stability of the open-pit to underground mining slope. It is hoped that through this research work,it can provide a strong guiding basis for the open-pit engineering practice of the mine. The content of this paper mainly includes the following aspects:(1)Through reviewing relevant literatures at home and abroad,to understand the experience of open-pit to underground mines at home and abroad,to learn the advanced theories of experts and scholars in related fields, and to summarize the theory related to the stability of open-pit to underground slopes, laying a theoretical foundation for subsequent research work.(2)Through on-site survey and investigation, understand the basic status of the mine, investigate and count the rock mass and rock mass structure of the slope rock and soil, classify and classify the surrounding rock in the study area, and use the Rocscience Dips software.Determine the dominant structural plane of the slope, and then use the Chiping polar projection to analyze the stability of the current open slope.(3)Through sampling at the mine production site,on-site direct shear test, point load test and indoor rock physico-mechanical test, the rock physical and mechanical parameters of the two main lithologies of the mine are obtained, and then the rock mass quality is graded and combined with the H-B criterion. The rock mechanics parameters are reduced to the rock mechanics parameters corresponding to the two main lithologies.(4)On the basis of mine geological data, the FLAC3 D numerical simulation software is combined with the mining method adopted by the mine to simulate the mining process of underground mining engineering, and the thickness of the ore body is analyzed from the aspects of stress, displacement, plastic zone and safety factor to the average thickness and maximum.Under the two conditions of thickness, the stability of the open pit slope of the mine to the underground mining, from the calculation and analysis results,it can be seen that with the underground mining work, the stability of the open slope will also decrease, and the goaf will be adopted. After the area is filled with the filling, the stability of the open slope is significantly improved.
