FCC slurry oil, which is rich in polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, is an ideal feedstock for producting fuel oil, needle coke, carbon fiber, carbon black, plasticizers, resins and other petroleum products. However, Liquid-Solid Separation Technology for FCC slurry is a Technical problem which petrochemical industry in China is facing. There is an urgent need to develop a solid removal technology of FCC slurry, and it is should be adapt to Chinese national conditions. In preliminary laboratory research we developed solid of FCC slurry removal technology of the additives-washing-ultrasonic. We carried out the industrial sidetrack test of solid removal of FCC slurry, which is based on the preliminary laboratory research. We obtain the optimal process condition of solid removal from FCC slurry. Such as 300ppm oil-soluble demulsifier, 1000ppm Polyacrylamide and ammonium sulfate,10% water. The dose of weighting agent is 30% of water. The mixure temperature cannt be lower than 90℃. Ultrasonic power is 4kw, and the sweep frequency is 7, and the ultrasonic time is 15℃. Settling temperature is about 90~95℃, and the settling time is 6h.Based on those conditions, the ash content can be reduced to 100ppm, and the prolapse rate of catalyst powder in the slurry is up to 96% or more.
