With the development of the times, women's wear gets the myriads of changes and has many different styles. And the clothing styles become more and more novel and creative. While the shoulder silhouette of the clothing as a part of the whole can play an important role on the whole style. And the shoulder part of the garment can become a bright spot in the overall clothing. By the way, many famous fashion designers sometimes place emphasis on the shoulder design, highlighted the clothing styles by the shoulder part. Current research shows that many researchers analyze the shoulder silhouette from the view of design, less from the cooperation between the structure and the shoulder silhouette. So the study on the related factor of women's shoulder silhouette has certain significance.This research bases on both theory and practice. After gathering lots of popular styles for women's wear, summarizing the popular shoulder silhouette, analyzing the changes of the shoulder shapes, and carrying on the classification, it combines techniques of the plane plate and draping, then studies the relationships between the apparel shapes and infected parameters. It divides into four parts as follows:1. According to the popular trend and the fashionable design on structure, the women's shoulder silhouette can be classified and divided into T shape and H shape. And there is the questionnaire survey about fashionable shoulder silhouette and it shows that the shoulder shape parameters which have important effects on the shoulder shape are shoulder pads, shoulder width, looseness and the clothing style designed. This paper is mainly analyzed on the related structural factors for shoulder shapes.2. Analysis of human shoulder shape and the fashion styles, based on the study of human shoulder shape and get the exact shoulder angle, and then refines the evaluation parameters for shoulder silhouette, which can be used in the continued experimental design. 3. The experimental object is Donghua basic block which amended in 2010. The research is based on the block and gets the relevant changes on the structural parameters to make experimental samples. After comparing the data with the one calculated by the ideal structural parameters mathematical models and using of SPSS software to get some analysis on linear regression or correlation, it can get the relationships between the structural parameters and the structure on bodice/sleeve or the shoulder silhouette.4. Refer to the structural effect-results which can be summarized in the experiments of the different parameters, and then analyze all of the parameters to design an orthogonal experiment. Make the orthogonal experimental samples, which can be judged or scored by the experts. Then using the method of Range Analysis, Variance Analysis and Stepwise Regression Analysis, the linear regression equations will be made out by SPSS software. The linear regression equations are related to the cooperation between the garment structural design and the shoulder shapes. It's the highlight which can be estimated the shoulder shape by the related stuctural parameters or which can get the related stuctural parameters if there is a precise shoulder shape.Using the structural data comparison which can be got from the ideal structural parameters mathematical models and samples, the paper analyses the changes of garment structure and the whole silhouette, in order to get the cooperation between the structure and the shoulder shapes of the garment and summarize of the change rules. It can be helpful to the guide industrial production as a numerical basis or reference.
