Along with the development of national economy, coating industry developed into an important industry that absolutely necessary in each fields of national economy from a small industry, our country have entered the mainstream of development of world coating industry. As coating market demand become more and more high, and response to the country's call of the energy conservation and emissions reduction, request of coating production equipment become more and more high, automatic control degree of coating production process cries for improving. Now, most coating enterprises control its production process manually in our country. This not only have poor control effect, low accuracy, slow reaction speed, poor real-time and big manpower, and also affect product quality and production directly; And many production have dangerous characteristics such as inflammable, explosive, toxic and harmful. Therefore, improve automatic level of production process to reduce or eliminate environmental pollution in industry caused by coating production, reduce energy consumption, check accidents or disasters in production process in the bud to realize the sustainable development of coating industry plays a very important role in overall situation of development of national economy.According to the real project background, this paper introduces the necessity of information reform project implement of Qingdao Xuanwei coating and paint Limited in view of existing problem in coating industry, researched and discussed the designing and analysis of grinding control system in information system, gave the plan and the system designing accord to the technical and request of grinding process, formed the control system composed of IPC, PLC and Configuration software. Its use proved good characteristic of control system. On these bases, we use pressure of air tightness as control variable, modeling pneumatic double diaphragm pump in grinding machine, and designed the controller. Then, to optimize the control parameters of grinding control system by analysis of basic principle and implementation of ant colony algorithm. Finally, this paper choose each parameters of real equipment to get transfer function of controlled system, simulation controlled system before and after optimized was realized by using MATLAB, and make simulation contrast with other three optimization ways that based on GA, Neural Networks and Fuzzy Adaptive. Using ant colony algorithm to optimization the control parameters have advantages from contrast results that fast response, short regulating time, etc. Proved its' feasibility in theory.
