With the development of modern manufacturing technology to the direction ofprecision,high efficiency and high-speed,The electric spindle has become a generaltrend of development in the CNC machine tools,Asking more and more demands forperformances,continuing development to the direction of the high-speed,high-rigidity, to the development of high-speed high-power,low-speed high torque direction,further develop towards high accuracy,high reliability and extended working life.Asone of the CNC machine tools core feature of the electric spindle,Become animportant factor to influence and constraints of the above-mentioned direction ofdevelopment,Therefore,the static and dynamic characteristics of electric spindlesystem to lay the foundation for the development of CNC machine tools,In this paper,the following main contains:(1) Starting from the design of electric spindle problems to be considered,determinethe basic parameters of the electric spindle and its structure,A reasonable choiceof bearings and to determine the form of support,Further determine the manner ofbearing preload, spindle cooling, lubrication methods.(2) Application of mechanical dynamics,to establish the differential equations of thedynamics of the high-speed spindle unit,By solving the inherent frequencies andmode shapes,and analyzing the main factors that affect the electric spindle staticand dynamic characteristics.(3) By ANSYS to modal analysis and harmonic analysis of electric spindle unit.Toget each vibration mode of the electric spindle and the natural frequency andcritical speed by modal analysis.To get the electric spindle displacement curve ofthe front-end frequency response by harmonic response analysis,and to proposemeasures to improve the dynamic characteristics of electric spindle.(4) By the electric spindle static and dynamic stiffness characteristics ofexperimentalAnalysis reasons for the higher dynamic stiffness of the electricspindle radial and the at high speed to increase the static stiffness.
