In the system security of the entire coal production, the coal mine ventilation system is an irreplaceable part, it is a key part of the coal mine production safety. The mine local ventilator is one of the main equipment of the mine ventilation system, So I designed and researched the PLC frequency conversion and configuration control system. In this paper, the system which I designed can not only greatly improve the safe reliability of local ventilation equipment under the shaft, but also save a lot of electrical power. And I think it has a good application prospect.In this paper, I take a rotating axial-flow fan as a control object, combined with PLC frequency conversion technology and configuration control technology. And I make some sort of design and research about the mine local fan control system. First of all, testing respectively the data of the two fan impellers in the rotating axial-flow fan, so that I choose a reasonable control scheme based on the data obtained. Secondly, after selecting the scheme, I design the main circuit of the control system, and connecting the PC, the PLC, the frequency converter and the fan effectively. Thirdly, according to the curvilinear relation from the analog voltage of frequency converter and fan delivery, then take advantage of Siemens PLC programming software STEP7-Micro/WIN to complete the program for the entire system design Fourthly, combined with the control of the entire system functional requirements, I use the King View configuration software to design various monitoring screen, which include the main monitoring screen, real-time trend curves screen, the historical trend curve screen, the alarm screen and start the standby fan prompt screen. Then I complete the design of the mine local ventilation monitoring system. Finally, I test this system in three aspects, which include the test on basic operation process of the whole operating system, various monitoring screens by configuration software, and remote monitoring about the screens released by web.Through the above three tests, I prove the feasibility of the control system. Although the system is not particularly fluently when it work, but basically reached the expected requirement. If this system can be further improved in the diversity of fan monitoring data, communication mode and the configuration technology. In that way, the updated version system is likely to be widely used in the coal mine production system.
