Looking back on the clothes fashion trend,the portion of knitting fabric in fashionable clothes is growing gradually because of their great qualities,especially in wrapper and sportswear.Because of softness,good drapability and comfortability,excellent heat preservation,knitting clothes are popular to consumers.At present,there are many ways to improve the qualities of knitting fabrics to meet the consumers' needs,for example,the development of twistless yarns.Parallel ply yarns improve fabric qualities according to changing the structure of yarns.Now only several people do a relevant research about this.Two or more yams are put together parallel,after passing a set of air-flow equipment,the yarn filoplumes are wrapped around the yarn under the effect of high speed air-flow,then the parallel ply yarn is formed.First,manufacture 3-ply parallel ply yarn with the equipment existed, then optimize the best yam in orthogonal experimental way,then do some yarn or fabric comparisons with twist yarm,parallel feeding yarn.The final conclusions are the device existed can fulfill the filoplumes entanglement and wrap;the fabric thickness,skew,bursting strength have obvious differences with twist-yam fabric.But due to the effect of strong vertical air flow,yarn evenness gets worse,form many neps,and finally cause serious fabric roughly.In the second phase,design the new-type filoplumes entanglement device.Introduce theories and specifications of some auxiliary devices firstly,then introduce the follower motion in detail,parameters determination and theories of drawing cam profile,at last inspect and verify its reasonability.In the third phase,form the new spinning process flow with this filoplumes entanglement device instead of net work nozzle in previous flow.Manufacture the new parallel ply yarns with this new process flow, and optimize the best one in the orthogonal experimental way,and then do some yarn or fabric comparisons among this best parallel ply yarn,twist yarn,parallel feeding yarn,parallel ply yarn optimized in previous spinning process flow.The conclusions are as these:the new parallel ply yarn doesn't entangle closely like the previous parallel ply yarn,but its harmful filoplumes number is lower than previous parallel ply yarn;its fabric thickness doesnt have much differences with previous one;its fabric bursting strength and skew lie between previous parallel-ply-yarn fabric and parallel feeding fabric;its fabric ventilation property doesn't have much difference with parallel feeding fabric;and its fabric roughness concentration is lower than previous parallel-ply-yarn fabric.All in all,parallel ply yam and its fabric have much difference with twist yarn,parallel feeding yarn and their relevant fabrics.There are also some differences between the new parallel-ply-yarn fabric and previous parallel-ply-yarn fabric.There are also many problems in the research process.For example, the design of nozzle and manufacture of cam are not perfect,the yarns selected are not elaborate.So,there are lots of researches on parallel ply yarn needed in the future.
