This paper takes the hydraulic system of a large tonnage truck as the research object, analyzes the working principle of the hydraulic system and studies the reliability technology.Firstly, the hydraulic system structure and working principle is researched thoroughly. Taking the lifting system as the main research object, this paper analyzes the working process of the lifting system in detail, establishes the reliability model and grasps the serial-parallel relationship among various components in the system.Secondly, on the basis of mastering the hydraulic system fully, it takes the fault tree analysis method as the basic method to study the hydraulic system, completes the fault tree models and the relevant qualitative and quantitative analysis.The reliability simulation for the system is taken by using the Monte Carlo method based on the fault trees. Using the fixed time intervals method, the failures number in the fixed time intervals is determined, the related reliability parameters and the main distribution style of the system is acquired. Through analysing the reliability test parameters, the life distribution and distributed parameters of some main components in the hydraulic systems are estimated.Finally, combined with the existing failure maintenance records and current working operation condition, the fault trees and case analysis databases are designed. The hydraulic system failure analysis software is developed, which has the fault retrieval, fault tree establish, fault tree analysis, reliability simulation and reliability test data processing and other many function modules.The research results provide greater practical value for the maintenance and design improvement work of the vehicle's hydraulic system and training the corporate maintainer. At the same time, it provides a foundation of reliability engineering research for the company in the future.
