| As the important province in southwest china, Sichuan province locates on the eastern edge of high altitude district which has complex landform, geologic and hydrologic conditions. Thus, geological disasters have occurred many times in recent years. Especially, the big earthquake brought great damages to the people in Sichuan Province at May 12,2008. After the earthquake, one of the important targets is to recover the traffic to the disaster area. However, for the massive accumulation made in earthquake, the new road must be built on it. Meanwhile, the accumulation can't be settled sufficiently and is unsteady. Moreover, the material of roadbed comes from the soil-aggregate mixture. This kind of road building technology attracts more and more attention as well. But there are lots of difficulties in road building, such as the uncontrollable size of material, the uneven water content. Thus, the quality of road building can't be guaranteed.The settlement and deformation in roadbed may occur and the road may damage to affect the traffic. Therefore, the stability is one of the key problems in the road re-building after the earthquake.In this paper, according to the reconstruction project of 303 province road from Yinxiu to Wolong after the Wenchuan earthquake, the physical and mechanical properties of accumulation and materials in roadbed are investigated. By the method of the experiment about the geotechnical centrifuge modeling, the stability and deformation are obtained with the various pressures, water contents and material sizes. At the same time, the GEO-SLOPE software is used to obtain the numerical analysis of settlement and deformation distribution of the accumulation. Through the overall analysis, the stability mechanism of the roadbed on the accumulation is discussed and the sufficient parameters are provided for the design and construction of the road on the accumulation. Therefore, the stability and deformation of roadbed on the accumulation must be ensured in order to design and construct properly and sufficiently. |
