With increasing attention of clean energy, especially the rise of wind power industry, more and more use of wind energy by all countries concerned. Abundant wind energy resources in China, especially wind resources of the southeast coast are particularly rich, marine and coastal wind power generation has a vast market and development prospects. However, due to the typhoon hit the southeast coast frequently, bring technical difficulties to coastal and offshore wind power generation. This paper solved the issue for the current type of anti-typhoon wind turbines for the development and performance.In this study, according to wind power airfoil and fluid flow principle, analyzed the lift theory of wind turbine, proposed tandem-rotor wind turbine design. Through theoretical analysis of tandem-rotor wind turbine and wind turbine model test, and design a set of well large tandem-rotor wind turbine blades.In this study, analyzed tandem-rotor wind turbine from the whole large spatial domain for unsteady numerical simulation, analyzed tandem-rotor tail wind flow of the pressure change and the kinetic energy change and get tandem-rotor wind turbine wake effects analysis, the result shows that wake of tandem-rotor wind turbine is small, and the excellent performance of wind turbine weak interference. The result provides a good theoretical guidance to arrangement of tandem-rotor wind turbine and wind farm development.Study anti-typhoon performance design of tandem-rotor wind turbine. Through the derivation of the tandem-rotor speed triangle theory, and verified of unsteady numerical simulation test, analyzed the multiple status changes of pressure, torque, and flow between front rotor and rear rotor. Numerical experiments and physical test results show:front rotor acting when breeze, the two rotors contribute equally when reaching design wind speed, and front rotor and rear rotor have the same direction when typhoon(wind speed 60m/s), and the rear rotor generates gate control for front rotor to reduce the damage role on wind turbine production.The stability and interference of tandem-rotor wind turbine in strong winds and typhoons is to evaluate important indicator of the performance of tandem-rotor wind turbine. This paper analyzed distribution of pressure energy of tandem-rotor wind turbine blade, and pressure interference of the three regional faces and pressure fluctuation of monitoring points. The results showed that tandem-rotor wind turbine has good interference effect and energy use characteristics. Finally, introduce the work of laboratory model test machine.
