Reinforced concrete structure widely used in various structures, but in some natural conditions, such as port engineering, corrosion of steel bar would lead to structure damage in advance and much economic loss. With the development of material science, fiber reinforced polymer (BFRP) bars will solve this problem by its numerous advantages. Two-way slabs generally used in port engineering and so on, but when it sustains concentrated load, it will have two failure modes:punching failure and flexural failure. So it necessary to analysis BFRP bar reinforced concrete two-way slab under concentrated load. This paper analyses punching failure of BFRP bar reinforced concrete two-way slab under concentrated load by experiment. The results show that the ultimate load-carrying capacity improved with the improvement of concrete strength and with the improvement of BFRP bar reinforcement ration. We solve the plastic solution problem of the bending limit load-bearing formula of the BFRP concrete two-way slabs under different supporting conditions, concrete strength and reinforcement ratio by using the principle of virtual work.We do the simulation to the BFRP concrete two-way slabs punching failure by using ANSYS finite element analysis software, reasonable selected cells and models. And we can get the fracture shape, and the ultimate load. All of these are in good agreement with the experimental results. It indicates the feasibility of finite element analysis.
