Wind-induced vibration is an important issue which affects the normal using of high-rising structures and structural safety. Although the amplitude which induce the effect of wind vibration is smaller than induced by general earthquake loads, compared to earthquake loads its effect much higher. Even though wind-induced vibration is inevitable, it can be controlled within the allowable range. In this paper, Basing on the wind-induced vibration problem of a landscape telecommunications building lightning rod, have done analysis on the structural dynamic characteristics by the way of using both dynamic test and finite element propose a corresponding vibration reduction and reinforcement control scheme. Finally, determine the final vibration reduction and reinforcement after effect analysis by finite element method. At last, propose the method of handling the general vibration problem of the high-rising single-steel lightning rod.This specific study work by the following aspects:(1) Made dynamic test on the structure and the around environment, by environmental random excitation method, identify the natural frequency of the structure. By signal frequency domain analysis to find the various measuring points in all directions vibration displacement amplitude. With specification to initially determine vibration displacement of the structure whether meet the regulatory requirements.(2) Establish the finite element model, and then made modal analysis on the structure, analysis frequency vibration mode and other power features. Authentication the finite element analysis is well consistent with the measured results finite element method can be applied to the analysis of further study.(3) Analysis of the dynamic characteristics of the wind and simulate the wind loads of the landscape steel tower lightning rod. Imposed the simulate loads on the model to draw the lightning rod steel tower each node's displacement which analysis by finite element analysis, combined with the measured displacement of each point and analysis errors.(4) Proposed several initial reinforcement programs, and then establish the finite element models of the reinforcement structure and analysis these reinforcement programs. After considering structural vibration reduction reinforcement effect, cost, cycle, and other various factors, propose the optimal vibration reduction and reinforcement program. Combined results of the analysis before, give an assessment about the effect of vibration reduction and reinforcement program.
