The construction of interchanges is always an effective method to improve the traffic ccapabilities of an interjection. While the traffic flow be reassigned seperatelly by the flow direction on the road network, for the purpose of improveing the level of service at the nod of the network. Meanwhile, as a consequence of the interchange construction, the structure of the urban road network is also changed, as well as the trip selection behavior of the travelers. Consequently, we could say that the type of ramps of interchange selection problem could amount to a tipical Network Design Problem considering the turning delay conditions.On the analysis of previous study on the ramp selection, the calculation of the ramp capacity, and the method of the urban interchange planning as well as motion lines of hundreds of interchangees in Chengdu Beijing and Hangzhou, the following work were done in this thesis:Made a detail classification on the motion types of the interchange; Code the ramps by the motion line modle; Completed the expression of various interchangees in the topological graph representing the urban road network via the star-network structure, as well as the storage of the turning-movement table in the computer in the meantime of the iteration; Made a bi-level modle in the consideration of the turning dealy of road network. In this model, the upper level model with an aim to minimize the total integrated costs including the relative network resistance by planning the interchange type, and the lower level model with an aim to reach user equilibrium on relative road network traffic flow. We have also given an arch-labeling method to solve the network modle without doing the transfer to the dual network. We studied the system optimization problem aimed interchange ramp type selection problem. At last a genetic algorithm is advised to solve the bi-level model mentioned above.Innovation points in this thesis include:we concluded and classified the types of interchange ramp of all the anastomosing interchange and perfect form interchange, given them unified code in order to achieve the computer-aided decision-making. A bi-level optimal model of ramp type selection of relative interchanges is built, on the consideration of ramp traffic capability, ramp features, road network influence factors. Meanwhile, improve the method of the network design problem with the turning-delay and execise it in the urban road topological graph with a genetic algorithm. Provide scientific objective decision support on the selection problem of type of interchange ramps in urban road network.
