Microgrid technology is an effective ways to promoting the development of renewable energy resources. This research work analyzed the technical problems and role evolution requirement of Microgrid, defined three kinds of DER's role in Microgrid, introduced the concept of Assurance System to Microgrid and proposed a concept of system-oriented assurance in Microgrid.System-oriented assurance technology in Microgrid that means the Microgrid which has the advanced systematic property that capable of supporting the Role Autonomy of DER and supporting the policy evolution of Microgrid.The Role Autonomy that included the function evolution, role changing and role coordination; The policy evolution that included the market rules, pricing mechanism and management mode in Microgrid.Moreover, the core idea of Role Autonomous Decentralized System (RoADS) was introduced, and constructed an assurance technology system for Microgrid based on this core idea. So far, this technology system included the assurance control strategy for Microgrid based on RoADS, the conceptual reconstruction model of protection system for Microgrid based on RoADS, and the conceptual model of configuration evolution in Microgrid based on RoADS.At the last, Based on PSCAD/EMTDC simulation platform, a Microgrid system model was designed and realized. In simulation work, control strategy for single DER unit has been evolved into has both the PQ control mode and the U/f control mode, and removed the traditional synchronous generator unit at the same time. The simulation result shows that the DER able to autonomously express different control mode according to the changing of external operation status. By means of evolution of control strategies which provide a kind of solving method for seamless transition of Microgrid operation, and the simulation result verified the assurance property of proposed control strategy.
