With the development of higher parameter and larger capacity of thermal power generating units,boiler feed pump as the most important equipment of generators, its higher parameter and reliability are demanded. This paper makes studying on the design of boiler feed pump of 350MW supercritical thermal power generating unit. Present the typical structure of boiler feed pump. Precisely calculate the hydraulic parameter of boiler feed pump with double cases and large capacity, optimize the design of boiler feed pump on the casing seal, shaft seal and balancing force in the axial direction, so as to improve the running reliability, reduce vibrancy, leak, wearing and other defects influencing the steady running of boiler feed pump. And represent the creativity on the structure design, the advance on the hydraulic model. Expound the technical measures to improve pump's performance value, make performance curve better, solving key questions about steady and reliability of pump's running in the development stage. Propound several prevention measures on the pump cavitation. Summarize the testing methods and the analysis of testing result. Obtain required performance curve by taking corresponding measures. Analyses and summarize the designing innovations on the technical keys and questions resolved in the studying process. The boiler feed pumps servings for 350MW supercritical power generation unit, have rational structure, reliable capability, high efficiency proved on the test-bed, and have high value to be popularized. Provide useful experiences on the domestic industrialization of boiler feed pump servings for supercritical generation units.
