Analysis Culture Square Based On The Post Occupancy Evaluation Of University Campus Cultureplaza

Campus Culture Campus Square is an important component of public space, it is a place to gathering students and teachers and exchange their opinions in the school premises and also a place of first choice to hold various activities in the school. It is expressed not only on campus but also the culture and history important transport nodes and the campus landscape nodes. Square campus in the campus culture plays an increasingly important role, also plays an functional role.This study used research methods of POE on five university campuses in Hunan Cultural Square in-depth investigations and the findings were summarized, the main results are as follows:1) There are common flaws of the current prevailing campus culture Square Plaza which are the excessive scale; Square traffic flow in the chaos; the lack of detailed space design; ignorance of the user's behavioral characteristics and psychological needs and other issues.2) Summery of the impact factors of Campus Culture Square, in the following areas: Campus hosted the function of the cultural square; the user's group characteristics of campus culture Square; the micro climate of campus culture Square3) Discussion of the design principles of University campus culture square such as hosting a variety of activities on campus; reflecting the campus culture; easing school traffic; to meet the needs of student behavior; to improve the campus environment.4) this paper summarizes the design of Campus Culture Square, respectively, from the design of square size, space design, the base surface design, traffic design, landscape design and service facilities in the six aspects of the design in detail.5) As an example of Hunan Agricultural University Plaza renovation, this paper describes how to divide the space for a variety of different activities to meet user's demand for the site. This paper also focus on places to explore ways to meet the square function of the premisein the paper for another example of practical design of Lotus Hunan Agricultural University, by digging deep historical background and the campus culture, in order to design a psychological sense of belonging and pride of the campus culture Square.this study focuses on the characteristics of campus, demonstrates the design of the campus cultural square in depth, from the user's psychological needs and behavior patterns and analysis of scientific evidence to the square of the new campus culture and the renovation and expansion to provide objective Real design basis, so that the construction of campus culture Square would be more reasonable and scientific, and the square is more suitable to use for a variety of activities in the crowd.
