Vibratory feeder is a equipment that makes use of vibration to feed. It is widely used in the mining, metallurgy, machinery manufacturing, coal, chemicals, building materials, food and light industrial departments, etc. At present, it develops towards large-scale, efficient and energy-saving. The larger the inclination-angle, the feeding amount is greater. In order to improve the feeder's output, the feeder is usually installed downward, however inclination-angle ranges generally from 0°to 10°. Now, there is no material that have described precisely about the movement of large inclination-angle of vibratory feeder under the angle greater than 10°.Kinetic theory of material on the vibratory feeder has been studied to establish the kinematic model of linear motion.Through analyzing the character of the sliding and throwing motion state, the theoretical formula for calculating the transporting speed is obtained.In order to study the kinematics characteristics of the material on the feeder, a set of vibratory feeder is specially designed on the basis of self-synchronous principle. It is easy to adjust the angle and it has a large feeding amount and simple structure.In the large inclination-angle, the speeding difference of numeration data and testing data is great. Therefore, it is necessary to correct the speed formula on the case of large inclination-angle feeding. By analyzing the material in the large dip movement on the feeder, choosing different particle sizes, designing two layer thickness which is thin layer and thick layer, testing the conveyor speed of different angles. It figures out the speed of coefficient function on the basis of the large number of experiments so that the speeding formula gets accurate and simple.The use of small exciting force also can achieve a large feeding amount when the inclination-angle is large. Reducing the exciting force can decrease energy consumption. It achieves the goal of energy conservation. But this increases the wear on the liner, so it is necessary to reasonably choose liner material.Medium carbon low alloy steel, A3 steel, high chromium cast iron and 2Crl3 steel are worn on the low stress abrasion testing machine. High chromium cast iron has the best were resistance, and the wear is mainly the result of micro-cutting mechanism; the wear resistance of 2Cr13 steel is not as good as High chromium cast iron, and the wear is mainly the result of micro-cutting and multiple plastic deformation mechanisms; the wear resistance of medium carbon low alloy steel is second to 2Cr13 steel, the wear is mainly the result of micro-cutting mechanism; the wear of A3 steel is particularly serious. It has been unable to resist low stress abrasive, the wear is mainly the result of multiple plastic deformation mechanisms and fatigue wear mechanisms.
