Recently, with the quick development of China's electrified railway construction, the electric locomotive loads are distributed in power grid widely. As harmonics caused by electrified railway is different from that generated by other power grid'loads, the influence of it on power grid attracts more and more concerns and researches. Study on the harmonics-process can analyze and calculate harmonic currents produced by traction power supply system under different operating conditions. Finally, providing scientific basis for the study and analysis on the characteristics and regular of harmonics and assessment of effect to power grid.In this paper, the simulation of traction power supply system harmonic-process is divided into three parts. That is, modeling the traction power supply system's static elements, building CRH2-200 electric multiple units probabilistic harmonic current model and based on run map traction multiple trains harmonic process simulation.Based on the theory of multi-conductor transmission line and general transform relation of traction substation's port electric variables, a unified mathematical model of traction harmonic network has been constructed for various forms of traction power supply system. According to measured data, electric locomotive'harmonic current probability model is acquired by probability and statistics, curve fitting and numerical calculation. Through traction calculation data, electrical locomotive harmonic model and Monte Calor sampling, generating each-order harmonic current data and saving to the database.On the basis of VC++2005.Net soft development platform, traction power harmonic simulation module has been designed and developed and TractionPowerSimulator2.0 has acquired. Finally, the modeling and simulation of a actual electrified railway has been founded. The simulation results indicate that the calculation results of this software are accurate and believable. This software could be applied to electrified railway engineering design and calculation..
