In recent years, a batch of long tunnel and extra-long tunnel were successively built with the rapid growth of the national economy and the great progress of highway tunnel. To ensure the request of operating environment and disaster relief, highway tunnel should have opera-tion ventilation, and also have a safe and reliable disaster prevention ventilation system. In the recent twenty years, the practices of domestic proved that ventilation design in extra-long highway tunnel was a key point in the whole design, and it directly affected the cost of the tunnel construction, the operation environment, relief function and operation effi-ciency.Therefore,tunnel ventilation has become the key point in influencing and restricting the construction of highway tunnel.This thesis depended on the Bai zhishan tunnel on the secondary road between Cheng-Kou and Wan Yuan in ChongQing. It useed theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and network analysis to analyse the extra-long highway tunnel.This thesis study mainly contents details as the following:1. According to the relative position of main tunnel, parallel hole and connecting aisle, this paper studied the ventilation operations of opening different connecting aisles.Then it comed up with a ventilation system, in which air flow was steady, operating energy consump-tion was reasonable and Implementation difficulty was small.2. Using CFD numerical analysis software, According to the actual tunnel geometry size, this paper studied the smoke flowing in the both-way traffic tunnel with large unidi-rectional longitudinal slope. Through the research, we can come up with the wind speed in the both-way traffic tunnel with large unidirectional longitudinal slope when the smoke flow-ing to both ends. This provided basic data For fire ventilation.3. Using the ventilation network theory, according to the ventilation principles of fire rescue, the air flow in every fire district was simulated.Then the need of fire ventilation equipment of different location was determined.Combining with requirement of the operation Ventilation, this paper researched the optimization of the ventilation equip-ments in disaster relief and operation of the tunnel.
