With development of the computer technology and calculation, in modern engineering numerical simulation technology has become a major driving force for formation and development. Welding is a process with electrophysical, heat transfer, met-allurgical and mechanical.Welding phenomena including the electromagnetic welding, heat transfer, metal melting solidification,Phase transition,welding stress and deformation when it is cooling.At the large-scale development of railway high-speed environment.It is important for the safety of railway locomotives.Bogie as a railway locomotive is an important part, Its Quality directly affects the safe operation of railway locomotives.This paper selects a type of vice bogie frame as the research object.Vice bogie frame is an important for freighte car bogie, It is welding composed by three sections of B+grade steel.If the welding residual stress and deformation does not fit for the design reQuirements will directly affect the safety of locomotive operation.In order to show that the simulating results are reasonable.In this paper, using the finite element method and the special software SYSWELD on the K7 welded bogie frame. According to K7 vice bogie frame establish the three-dimensional geometric model, mesh division and set the heat source parameter. The results compared with experimental results. The simulating results of the welding processes are to coincide with the experimental results.It shows that the simulating results are reasonable and can be applied in the production.
