Tunnel heading and loading machine is an important kind of transporting slag equipment, which is based on drilling-blasting method. It has the advantages of high efficiency and no pollution. The application of tunnel heading and loading machine can effectively accelerate the speed of tunnel construction, and increase operation effciency. Using it in tunnel construction will produce significant economic benefits. At present, China's design level of the tunnel heading and loading machine is still lower than other developed contries, basically at the stage of copying foreign products.Optimization design methods, especially intelligent optimization design methods, have been widely used in the field of mechanical design. Compared with the traditional design methods, the optimization design methods have a number of advantages, such as short design cycle, high calculation precision, convenient for optimal selection of scheme. Using optimization design methods in the designing of tunnel heading and loading machine can effectively speed up the development progress, and achieve the optimum scheme faster.Based on a certain type of tunnel heading and loading machine, this thesis accomplishes kinematics/dynamics optimization and simulation analysis by the particle swarm optimization(PSO). The main works are as follows:1. Based on the structural characteristics and working principle of tunnel heading and loading machine working device, this paper makes kinematics and dynamics analysis of the working device, educes its equations of kinematics and dynamics.2. According to design requirements, this paper establishes optimum design mathematical model of tunnel heading and loading machine working device, and accomplishes the programming and solution of this optimum design mathematical model using the particle swarm optimization(PSO) and interactive programming language(M Language).3. The kinematics and dynamics parameters of pre and post optimization are compared, to verify the reasonableness of the optimization results.4. On the basis of the results of kinematics/dynamics optimization, this paper accomplishes the structure design of tunnel heading and loading machine working device by using Solidworks 3D software, and obtains the 3D model of tunnel heading and loading machine working device.5. This paper makes the strength and stiffness analysis of tunnel heading and loading machine working device by using the ANSYS finite element analysis software, to verify the reasonableness of the structure design.This study not only obtains a better design scheme of tunnel heading and loading machine working device, but also provides a new way for the design of tunnel heading and loading machine. In addition, the successful application of Particle swarm optimization(PSO) in the design of tunnel heading and loading machine working device also provides a reference for the application of intelligent optimization design methods in the field of mechanical design.
