In recent years, the direct air-cooling system has developed rapidly. In China, many large capacity air-cooling units have also put into operation, power is large, but also energy dissipation capacity of large. With the deepening of reform and installed capacity of increased substantially, power generation enterprise competition between will gradually revealed, and only through strengthening production and management, can enhance the competitiveness. Therefore, must pass through the various technical means power to improve the efficiency of running unit, including running thermal efficiency is the comprehensive reflection of the running parameters, these parameters are not only with equipment running the superiority of the structure performance and fuel featuret, in large extent on the operational personnel operational level.Air-cooling unit single capacity and its operation parameters unceasing enhancement, how to improve its operation efficiency, it is urgent to solve one of the key technical problems. Air coolling technologies in power plant are an effective measures for turnning transport coal into power transmission in coal-rich and water shortage region in China. With capacity and operating parameters of the air cooling units continuous improvement, how to improve the economic operation which is an urgent need to resolve key technical problem. In this paper, aimed at a air cooling unit, according to arrangement of measuring points existing and their accuracy in the power plant, applying the advanced energy-saving analysis method, operation energy consumption for the power plant are calculated online quantificationally. Meanwhile, changes of the energy consumption and impact trends with operation parameters and unit capacity are analyzed systematically. And it can provide real-time guidance for optimal operation in the power plant. Experiment results express that the system not only can actually on-line monitor and analyse the operational conditions of the thermodynamic system, provide guidance for maintenance of thermodynamic equipment, but also can improve the level of running and management, make the unit running safely and economically.
