The Development Of Distribution Loss Analysis System For Dongguang Power Supply Company

Distribution system loss is an important index in distribution economic analysis. Distribution loss analysis system can assist power supply company to calculate theoretical losses, analyze real losses, make reasonable improvement plan for loss reduction and reduce non-technical losses. It is significant for lessening the workload of manager, improving work standardization and efficiency.Aim at the fact of distribution system in Dongguang Power Supply Company, through deep investigation and analysis, a distribution system loss operation model is set up, its function is described in detail and software structure is designed. A distribution loss analysis system is developed. The achievements in this paper include: (1) Theoretical loss calculation is implemented by investigating current calculation methods with five methods. (2) The loss reduction plan is improved by using data envelopment analysis and related software is implemented. (3) Identification of electricity customers with irregularity behavior is carried by clustering techniques; this work will help reduce non-technical losses, corresponding software is developed to assist worker to do such identification job.The development and use of distribution system loss analysis system provide a scientific tool for loss management in Dongguang district, and can be refereed by other companies and related operations.
