At present, the transportation construction is at its peak with the western development. But because of their special geographical environment, bound to the construction of a large number of bridges which often use the U-Shaped Gravity Abutment. However, the U-Shaped Gravity were often cracking in actual use and construction process. According to the extensive U-abutment the typical diseases of the U-Shaped Gravity, typical disease and reinforced abutment methods are be comprised by finite element simulation. Abutment connection and deformation failure mechanism are analyzed and proposed method and the corresponding strengthening measures designed to improve. The main thesis work:①The typical diseases and reinforced methods of U-Shaped Gravity Abutment are be extensive collection and collation.②Abutment force and deformation are comparative analyzed by changing the geometry, uneven settlement of foundation, earth pressure, overloading. The results showed that uneven settlement of foundations and earth pressure are on abutment greater degree of cracking.③Additional beam, the side wall of prestressed steel beams, front wall set bolt grouting, foundation grouting reinforcement methods are proposed according to diseases of U-Shaped Gravity Abutment are in different parts and different types. The displacement and stress distribution before and after reinforcement are comparative analyzed, the reinforcement effect has been verified. |
