Concrete-filled Steel Tube Arch Bridge has mang merits, such as large span capacity, strong foundation adapTableility, high carrying capacity, granceful shape, shortcut construction and low engineering cost. Since the first concrete-filled steel tube arch bridge was built in 1990, China has built more than 260 block concrete-filled steel tube arch bridge. Because the using condition of concrete-filled steel tube arch bridge is very complex and its protection technique is not perfect, many bridges have appeared diseases.It is necessary to carry out theory study on and technology exploitation of maintenance technique, in orde to improve its life and reliability.Basis on ZheJiang province highway administration bureau projects《Research on key maintenance technique of concrete-filled steel tube arch bridge》, the following researches have been completed in this paper.①collect and finish varieties of emerging diseases of concrete-filled steel tube arch bridge, analysis the reasons of pipe corrosion and concrete void aspects from the design, construction, materials, environment, etc.②Disease and its causes of boom and tied.③Mechanism of vibration disease of concrete-filled steel tube arch bridge.④Disease detection and discrimination rules of common diseases of concrete-filled steel tube arch bridge.⑤Conservation and maintenance Technique of concrete-filled steel tube arch bridge.⑥Propose recommendation of structural system, type of bridge deck system, optimal design of pole and design of protective layer boom for concrete-filled steel tube arch bridge.⑦Based on total life cycle of the design concept of whole life, discuss the principles and control points of component replacement and full-bridge demolition of Concrete-filled Steel Tube Arch Bridge, such as boom and tie.
