Global enteringa low carbon era . Is the energy-hungryconstruction industry, thecity's general construction on the environmental risks can not be ignored. Communitylifecycleconsumptionoffossilenergyandthereleaseoftheamazingvolumeofcarbondioxide,isathreattohumansurvival.。Low carbon cities construction energy conservation, emissions reduction anddevelopmentisanimportantcarrierofalowcarboneconomy,whichWillleadthenewtrendoffutureurbanconstruction。Lowcarboncommunityconstructionaslowcarbonis an important part of city construction , which is to promote the sustainabledevelopmentofthecityisimportantsegment.Fromthedesignofresidentialquarters forthestudyofenergy-savingstartingpointto green building theory, theory of ecology of soil, through the literature analysis, fieldresearch, analogies, reasoning approach is used to explore the design of low-carboncommunities Xi'an thinking , the idea of method, design strategies and design methods.BasedontheoverallsituationinXi'ancity,futureplanningtrends, researchandanalysisof typical communities and low-carbon communities summarized and the theory ofdesign experience and to explore for energy-efficient communitybuilding in Xi'an way.ArticlebasedongeographicandclimaticcharacteristicsofXi'anandtheresidentialareaof thedesignstatus, energyconsumptionstructure,householdenergystructure,buildingenergy saving, the data were analyzed by calculation, computer-aided analysis,theoretical discussion and other means to find suitable housing in Xi'an Area Designenergy-saving measures. In the text, put forward some specific measures such asimproved energy-saving windows and ventilation design, balcony renovation, wallinsulationstructure,theroofoftheecologicaldesign. Finally, residential area of Xi'an construction of energy-saving mechanism to putforwardnewideasandunderstanding.
