Basalt Fiber Reinforced Polymers is a kind of FRP composite. In recent years,becauseofitsgoodmechanicalproperties andhighcost-effective,BFRP,CFRP,AFRP,GFRP and etc are widely applied in Strengthening of Civil Engineering. Many expertsand scholars at home and abroad carried out research about the basalt fiber compositematerials and reinforced concrete members and got a lot of research achievements. Butresearch for the durability of Basalt Fiber Composite Reinforced Concrete is stillrelativelysmall,especiallyundertheultravioletradiationisnegligibleinfluence.When exposed to sunlight exposure, especially to the ultraviolet light of solarspectrum, materials are easily to become aging, but natural aging is a slow and lengthyprocess, so we have to study the durability of basalt fiber reinforced concrete throughdirectlyexposuretoultraviolet.ThisresearchwassubsidizedbytheNational863Project" Research and application of key technologies about reinforcement of damagedbuildingsandrepairmaterials"(No:2009AA032303).Itincludesthefollowingaspects:(1)The durabilityof basalt fiber-reinforced composite materials and concrete underultraviolet light were studied. Impregnated basalt fiber cloth with two different types ofepoxy resin, made 25 sheets tensile specimen respectively, after different lengths ofultraviolet radiation, we got the tensile strength,elongation and elastic modulus'schange rule under UV irradiation, and different resins for basalt fiber durabilityinfluence films. After exposure different strength grade of concrete to ultraviolet light,we get the cube compressive strength of concrete changes in law through the cubecompressiontest.(2)UV irradiation variationofbond performance between basalt fiber clothandtheconcretewas studied. In all thereare60pieces oftensile-shearspecimen and120piecesof normal tensile bond specimen are tested, through different fiber types, differentimpregnation resins, different concrete strength and other factors change, furtheranalysis of the ultraviolet light of between basalt fiber and concrete bondingperformancearemade.(3)The concrete beam reinforced by BFRP sheets by the flexural capacity isstudied under ultraviolet light. In six concrete beams, the test conditions obtainedultravioletrayirradiationofreinforcedconcretebeamunderdifferentcharacteristicsanddurabilityoftheperiod. (4)The concrete column reinforced by BFRP sheets after the axial compressioncapacity is studied under ultraviolet light. In 16 concrete columns, through the test ofdifferent layers of reinforcement, different way of strengthening and changes ofultravioletray,reinforcedconcretecolumnpropertieswerestudied.
