Basalt fiber is a new type of composite reinforced material, its excellent material properties can improve the performance defects of concrete, and improve the performance index of concrete, become a hot research in the field of engineering constantly. In view of the excellent properties of basalt fiber, the mechanical performance of basalt fiber reinforced concrete(BFRC), such as compressive strength, flexural strength, splitting tensile strength and axial tensile strength and so on, were studied by experiment under different fiber volume fraction. In which, a new type of stretching method of the axis tensile strength test was designed, the flexural strength test were studied by three methods(A-full mixed type; B-half mixed type; C-layers of cloth type), and combined with the requirements of concrete pavement and three test methods, three kinds of basalt fiber reinforced concrete pavement are designed and numerically simulated by the finite element software, its application are analyzed in engineering. The specific research contents are as follows:1. BFRC specimens of different fiber volume fraction(0.00%, 0.05%, 0.10%, 0.15%, 0.20%, 0.25%, 0.30%) were prepared, and their mechanical properties were studied by experiment, and the influence of the change of fiber volume fraction on the various types of strength was determined. The research shows that: with the increase of fiber volume fraction, the mechanical parameters of BFRC are improved. Among them, the tensile strength and flexural strength of BFRC were significantly improved.2. In different CBF volume fraction, the flexural strength and toughness of the three kinds of BFRC were analyzed. The results show that: in the range of test fraction, the flexural strength and toughness of BFRC prepared by the three methods all improve compared with plain concrete. In the three methods, the improvement of flexural strength and toughness of fiber reinforced concrete prepared by half mixed and layered method is superior to the fiber reinforced concrete prepared by the method of full mixed type.3. The tension and compression ratio of splitting tensile strength and axial tensile strength of BFRC was analyzed, and the relationship between the two was compared, the results show that: both tension and compression ratio of the two are increased with the increase of fiber fraction, and both strength has a good linear relationship.4. Combined with the requirements of concrete pavement and three flexural strength test methods, the three kinds of BFRC pavements are numerical simulated by the finite element software under the action of vehicle, the stress and strain changes of BFRC pavement was analyzed under vehicle loading, which provides theoretical basis for engineering application.In summary, the research on the mechanical properties of basalt fiber reinforced concrete is carried out by experiments and numerical simulation, and the achieved good results can be obtained, which can provide useful reference for the engineering application of this new type of building composite materials.
